This new complex features the FPL Bright Spot Playland, a 5,000-square-foot inclusive playground. One of the best features of this playground is that it's fully enclosed by a fence.
This playground is on the corner of 20th Avenue and 16th Street. I cannot find the building address for it yet, so I will come back and update it when I do. You cannot miss the complex, though — it's right across the street from Vero Beach High School.
Features
Equipment: slides, a variety of swings, climbing equipment, and musical instruments
Parking: large lot
Shade: There are few small sails over the main equipment and covering over the swings. Most of the playground is not shaded, and there are no surrounding trees.
Restrooms: one restroom–I'm not sure of the hours yet
Ground: rubber floor
Seating: None inside the fence. I would suggest bringing a camping chair. There are benches right outside of the playground.
Fence: The playground is fully fenced with a metal push gate
Additional info: There is a track next to the playground, but I'm not sure what the hours are or the rules for public use.
